Fall is upon us here in New England. The trees have started to change colors and the leaves are slowly falling. My view driving down the highway from work today was just spectacular. But as much as I love fall, I was sad to see summer go. I kept convincing myself to hold on to every little bit of summer by continuing to wear my summer clothes. But anytime I stare at my closet, I automatically reach for rich hues, cozy fabrics, and jewel tones. I guess I couldn't hold on to summer any longer. Most people associate summer with darker warm colors, I still appreciate a punch of color every now and then. I wore this simple yet fall appropriate outfit for a quick casual dinner on my birthday with le beau. Nothing too grand, we just went to a Greek restaurant and enjoyed some ice cream after.
What did I tell you about these oxblood pumps. I pulled them out two weeks ago and have already worn the a handful of times. Definitely my go to shoe for fall.
