Ankara on Ankara

Monday, August 12, 2013

Hey there fashionistas! I feel like I haven't blogged in a while. Truth be told, I had an outfit planned for last week but the pictures were uber blurry. Today I come to you with another ankara print outfit I wore this past weekend at my cousin's traditional engagement ceremony in New Jersey. I wore this in the morning for the actual ceremony and later changed at night for the reception into another ankara outfit which will be up later this week. The whole weekend was so much fun spending it with family but I was so tired when we got home Sunday night I had to literally drag myself to work this morning. On a brighter note, I am headed to DC in a few days and I hope I can relax while I am out there.
I just realized I am debuting my new hair do on the blog. I did the braids myself so they didn't come out as nice as I wanted. Practice will sure make me better.
