On Saturday I was invited to give a little talk at my college on behalf of one of my mentors who was being recognized during winter homecoming. While getting ready to leave, I got a call from one of my best friends from college, all she said was come outside. I immediately rushed outside to see her little one year old baby standing at my door step. I was so surprised I started screaming. I haven't seen them since last spring so I was so happy to see her, her husband, and the baby. Too bad they didn't stay long as they were headed to Boston plus I was headed out also but I plan on visiting them soon.
That night after my talk, Michael and I tried this new Japanese restaurant. It was a little on the pricey side but the sushi and hibachi was really good we are already planning to go back.
I didn't realize there was snow covering the ground until I walked out in this outfit, I blended in nicely if I don't say so myself. The coat is probably one of my best purchases in a long time. After two winters of searching for a red coat, J.Crew came to the rescue.
