I don't really make new year resolutions because when I do I forgot about them like the next day so why bother. With that said however, there are a few things I want to do/get better at this year. For starters, I want to start going to bed early instead of my typical midnight bedtime, read more books which I begin by getting the kindle app on my ipad, travel more, there is a huge world out there, and last but not the least take working out seriously.
I have three gym memberships, none of which I use much. Somehow I would get bored with one gym then get another membership at another. The truth is, it has nothing to do with boredom and everything to do with motivation. So this year my goal is to begin a comprehensive workout routine and I am bringing my mommy along. I got her a gym membership and a juicer and together we are embarking on this workout journey.
We were to begin this week but it has been frigid cold around here, I am talking single digit temperatures so we have moved it to next week or at least when the weather gets better that my toes don't freeze immediately when I walk out the door. In the meantime, I am doing this quick six minute routine, have to start somewhere. Don't be surprised when you see me at a gym near you in a sequin t shirt and wedge sneakers, its called motivation. Come this summer, I will be in running for the abs of steel contest.
