The Container Store

Wednesday, October 24, 2012

I was invited to a preview event for the new container store opening at the north shore mall. Since I desperately need to organize my closet, I attended to get some organizing idea. I went with twinnie and boy were we enlightened. The container store is located in different States throughout the country but still have the feel of a neighborhood store. They also make a point of working with a local non profit organization. (The north shore location actually donated over $17,000 to the Boston Children's Hospital from a percentage of their sales during opening weekend.) The event started with lunch and a brief overview of their history then followed with a tour of their new space. They really are the super house for organizing your home, anywhere from your closet to your garage, their elfa system can instantly transform any room in your home. Their products are actually affordable as well. I was surprised at the prices. Too bad we couldn't shop but I definitely plan on going back.

Twinnie before we left. Ok so that is not her name but we have so much in common we are practically twins. We may have been separated at birth really. The only thing we differ on is health and wellness. She is a maniac when it comes to working out and eating healthy and quiet the tea expert. She will be doing some posts on the blog about healthy living. Haven't really asked her but after reading this, she probably has no choice. So stay tuned for those posts. Her top and shoes are from Zara, her pants, well I don't know.
