Mall in Diera
I know this is way over due but since I got back, my to do list has just been growing and with classes starting next week, I feel like I have to get everything done because classes start and before you know its fall and winter. These will be my last Dubai pictures. I will resume with regular outfit posts starting next week. I have been carefully building my fall closet and I cant wait to share some of my outfits, mixing the new buys and the old ones.

On day four, we went to Diera. If you are ever visiting Dubai I strongly suggest staying in a hotel in Diera. Its close to everything. The streets are filled with shops, restaurants, hotels, and there is lots of things to do all within walking distance. We began the day at a souvenir shop then headed to a mall across the street for lunch. Due to ramadan restaurants open after 6:30pm so it ended up being dinner instead.

We then took a taxi to gold souk. Souk in Arabic means Market. The streets of the market were lined up with little shops filled with pretty things, jewelry, clothes, etc. Just like every market, all the shop owners want to get your attention because they will give you a better price. I love bargaining, ended up getting two kaftans for the price of one. I was so drawn into all the shops and totally forgot to take any pictures while at the market.
I got this embellished kaftan in the market. I plan on wearing it for a very special occasion and will reveal it them
