weekly Instagram Round Up

Sunday, July 1, 2012

Here are a few pictures of things I did during the week. It was a whirlwind of events that week, some good some not so good, but in all I learned to make the negatives into positives you know, making lemonade out of lemons. I spent the weekend with two of my best friends from college and that was just what I needed.
The same necklace, both from aldo. One in bright colors the other in pastels. The bright one is from last year. Anytime I wear it, I get so many compliments so when I saw the pastel in clearance about a week ago for only $10 I knew I had to have it. Click below for the rest of the pictures.
I went to the farmer's market on Tuesday. You would think people go to the farmer's market for the fresh veggies and fruits which is partly true but it was the bread lady that was drawing the line. I walked over to see what the buzz was all about and got a cinnamon bread. Omg its probably the best cinnamon dessert I have ever had.
I had some time during the week so I took a drive to my college to buy a decal for my car since the one I had came off after I had some work done to the car windows. Sadly, the book store was closed for renovations so instead I drove around the campus a bit. It was such a serene drive and brought back so many memories. I graduated in 2009 and I would do it all over again.
I saw this tropical pint fabric on clearance. The idea was to make shorts with them but I ended up making this skirt which took me less than an hour. I wore it on Saturday and would be posting the outfit pics soon.
My friends and I went to have lunch/dinner at UNO's on Saturday. It was at such an odd time because it was past lunch time but not quiet dinner so we didn't exactly know what to get. We all ended up getting appetizers since we were headed to a bridal shower later that night. This is the shrimp marsala dish my friend got.
I got the bbq chicken quesadilla and didn't realize there were onions in it. It came and was loaded with onions. I don't eat fresh onions. It has to be grilled or cooked some more. The waitress was kind enough to have another made for me without onions and it was yummy.
My other friend just had a baby so we spend the weekend with the baby in tow. This was her mess minutes after they arrived at my other friend's condo so imagine what the condo looked like hours after. She was so much fun to be around. I am typically not the baby kind only because I haven't really been around babies, and the babies I try to play with don't like me but this little bundle of joy made me a big kid for the day. We had fun trying out different baby apps on my Ipad. There was even an app for baby sign language.
Zara is having a sale, I'm sure you have heard especially with all the buzz on twitter. I got these sandals which is super comfortable and this green mini shopper both of which I plan on bringing with me on my trip in a few weeks.
My arm candy on Sunday. Full outfit picture to come soon.

Here is to another week. Remember everything happens for a reason. With that in mind, enjoy your week.
