On my sewing table

I had no intentions of going to the fabric store anytime soon considering I have a super huge pile of fabric in the corner of my room awaiting to be made into a clothing piece. My mom needed to pick up tulle for a quick decor she was working on so I decided to go with her. I'm glad I went. Below are three skirts I am currently working on. Between school and work, not to mention midterms, I am hoping to get all three done by the end of the week. I have a huge wish list on my computer of things I want to get. Eventually I either buy them or they make it to my sewing list when I find the right fabric for it.
This victoria secret skirt is just darling. I have been looking at it for sometime now. It will be perfect for holiday soirées and also for the spring. Thankfully I found an exact fabric, gold, and crinkly in the halloween costume fabric aisle for 50% off. Making a skirt like this will only take half an hour so why buy when I can make.
Everyone knows leather bottoms are in, skirt, shorts, and  pants. I was lucky enough to find the perfect pair of black leather shorts on the clearance rack at TJ Maxx. I can't wait to wear it. Perhaps tomorrow to dinner. This skirt above is part of the Jennifer Lopez collection for Kohls. I found the perfect soft faux leather fabric also in the halloween section on sale, so I decided to make a full skirt with it. I think i should be able to have leftover fabric for a pencil leather skirt as well, fingers crossed. I got a black and mustard peter pan collar top from H&M this summer and I haven't worn it yet because I keep picturing it with a leather skirt along with my jeffrey campbell litas lookalike which I also haven't worn, with sheer tights. Ok this outfit sounds cool in my mind I can't wait to finish the skirt just so I can put it together even if I just have to wear it to the starbucks around the corner.

I believe this skirt is also part of the Kohls collection. I am currently making a version of this. Pretty much done just sewing a zipper on. I will probably wear it to work during the week. The fabric I am using is slightly different. It is black and white and the dots are much smaller. It is actually not a new purchase. I bought it over the summer during my $1.99 a yard fabric haul. Initially, I wanted to make a full skirt but I ended up finding a polka dots full skirt in marhsalls so I am making a pencil one instead.
